SmartCAT uses digital forms to track asset calibration and maintenance records while NFC Asset Tags allow for quick data collection into the forms.
The completed forms are stored in a cloud database and available via phone, tablet or computer. The information can be viewed through SmartCAT’s dashboards, showing when maintenance was last performed and which assets are due for calibration.
Start by opening a custom form to auto-populate the current date and timestamp fields. Scan an asset’s NFC Asset Tag to pull up the associated maintenance checklist and information such as past maintenance and future calibration dates for that specific asset.
The checklist guides a user through what to look for and how to complete certain tasks when performing maintenance. Photos and notes can be added throughout the form to reference during future maintenance inspections.
Once finished, sign and submit the form to a manager via email. Managers can view the compiled information through a dashboard to find which assets' maintenance schedules have passed, are on time or approaching.
