Using the GPS element

The GPS element captures GPS Location Data for Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Speed (m/s), Horizontal Accuracy(m), Vertical Accuracy (m), and Time. For this element to work Location Services need to be turned on with your device.

Step 1


Select Location under Element Properties on the left side of the screen. You will see a new element pop up on your device view.


Step 2


On the right side of the screen under Element Properties, enter the name of your element as well as a description if necessary. To make information required in order to submit the form, scroll down and select Required under Element Properties.


Step 3


Click the save icon at the top right corner of the page.

How To Separate Parts Of A Location

Step 1


Make sure the Location element’s name box is filled out.


Step 2


Add a Text Area element after the Location element.


Step 3


Name the label of your Test Area element and write a description if necessary.
**To make information required to submit form, scroll down and select Required under Element Properties.**


Step 4


In the Dynamic Value put the name you want in the Name box on step one. Example: where_are_you_.latitude
